Video PhotographerDon Brookins

Don Brookins worked for the past 31 years at KUSA, Denver's NBC affiliate, with "the most talented and competitive photojournalists in the nation." It shows. He was among the staff awarded "Station of the Year" from the National Press Photographers Association on 11 separate occasions. Don knows the industry from the inside out, having worked with 16mm news film at the start of his career, through various tape formats, and onto today�s digital video editing systems. Don was born in Rochester, NY and landed his first job back in his hometown, the day after graduating from Emerson College, in Boston, in 1971. He discovered his love for telling visual stories at WORK-TV in Rochester in 1973, when he moved from in-house operations to news. In 1977, Don moved to the larger Denver market, in search of mentors who could help him further his career. Since leaving KUSA, Don has started his own video production company, Mountain Streaming, Inc. Christine and Don work as a team, producing stunning video virtual home tours, for Realtors listing higher-end properties in the Boulder and Denver areas. Their goal is to share each home's story, moving prospective buyers beyond the limited information and still photos provided by other Realtors.

Mark formed Weiler Production Services in early 1991, after many years of freelancing while also working full time in the corporate world. All told, Mark has nearly 30 years of experience behind the camera. Shooting video has always been a passion of Mark's and it shows in the quality of the footage he shoots and in the quality of the relationships he has with producers and crew members from around the country. His clients include The National Geographic Channel, The History Channel, MSNBC, NFL Films and numerous broadcast, cable and corporate clients. He also has extensive hand-held camera experience and is often sought out for live music events having worked almost 300 concerts. He has won two Contributing Emmy awards for his camerawork in 1994 and again in 2001. Christine and Mark have worked together on several projects for Sopris West Educational Services, including a series of educational/instructional videos for teachers on Department of Defense bases, worldwide. Videographer/EditorCJ Rogers

CJ is an award-winning editor and videographer, who comes from a TV news background, and currently works as Media Services Manager for Sopris West Educational Services in Longmont. CJ brings extensive knowledge of video graphic packages to the Honk! Media team. He's adept at "building" virtual sets that can take your project to the next level, visually. CJ is also responsible for authoring DVDs, transforming Power Point presentations into video and for online delivery. His passion for media keeps him involved in his family and community, especially at Journey Christian Church in Greeley, where CJ is Webmaster, video producer and a children's ministry volunteer. CJ and Christine have worked together scripting, shooting, editing and delivering several educational/instructional media projects at Sopris West. Web Site

Videographer/Editor/ProducerPaul Daugherty

Paul is an award-winning producer and founder of Doghouse Productions, in Boulder. He brings 20 years of television experience, mostly with PBS, to the Honk! Media team. Paul has done video work with NASA partners on Space Class, an educational video series, and Project Pisces. His independent documentary work includes Jump Steak, about the kangaroo industry in Australia, and the series Zoo Keeper Journal, shot in Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Paul is also an instructor at the University of Colorado School of Journalism and Mass Communication, where he holds a Master's Degree. Paul and Christine have worked together at CU's J-School since 2003. A native of Colorado, Paul has a great natural instinct for shooting nature and science-related projects.

Videographer/EditorChris Wright

Chris Wright has been working as a producer/director in the southwestern United States for more than 18 years. He holds a degree from the acclaimed Brooks Institute of Photography. Chris has served as director and chief editor of The Jewish Voice Broadcast. There, he was responsible for the design and building of a broadcast studio, production rooms and edit bays, as well as the research and application of all editing and computer graphic tools. He directed and edited over 350 nationally-broadcast programs, traveling to Russia Israel, South America, India and Ethiopia. Chris has taught DVD Authorizing and Adobe After Effects at California Lutheren University. Chris started 101 Media in 2000, and moved to Colorado, from California, in 2007, where he connected with Christine and Honk! Media. Web Site
